New conservation strategy presented.

The second Red Panda Conservation Strategy and Action Plan (RPCSAP) was presented in the Kingdom of Bhutan. This ten-year program aims to ensure a stable population of Red Pandas in the wild.
According to the daily newspaper Kuensel, the plan comprises 37 specific measures that will actively engage the local population.
Four objectives
The RPCSAP has four objectives: generating knowledge about Red Pandas (e.g., via GPS tracking), protecting and restoring their habitats, promoting sustainable ecotourism, and maintaining Bhutan’s unique record of zero reported cases of poaching.
