Futa, one of the most famous Red Pandas, will turn 23 on July 5, and the Chiba Zoo in Japan will hold an event in his honor.
The program will include a presentation by Futa’s caretakers, who will show photos and videos of Futa throughout the years and share updates about his recent activities. Futa will also receive a birthday cake. The event will be streamed live. More information is available on the zoo’s website.
The zoo announced that the first 2,000 attendees on the day of the event will receive a “Limited-Edition Special Card” commemorating Futa’s birthday.
