Poonya, a 5-year-old Red Panda at River Safari in Singapore, died on January 13 at 1 am. She had been suffering from gut infection and was under treatment since January 7.
In 2012 Poonya came along with male Red Panda Puska from Johannesburg Zoo in South Africa to River Safari.
The park hopes to bring in another female Red Panda.
