Male Red Panda Ishah at Wellington Zoo in New Zealand has passed away at the age of 14. He was very popular by the visitors and reached an above average age for a Red Panda.

 

We’re sad to say goodbye to Ishah, our eldest Red Panda at Wellington Zoo, who has passed away at the age of 14. Ishah has been much loved by his carers and Zoo staff, as well as being popular with visitors during Close Encounters. If you have memories or photos of Ishah, we’d love to see them.
