A Red Panda was saved on Tuesday by soldiers of the Armed Border Force (“Sashastra Seema Bal”), a special unit of the Indian police.
Attacked by stray dogs
The Panda was attacked by stray dogs and lost its way into the inhabited areas along the highway between the cities of Tezpur (state of Assam) and Tawang (state Arunachal Pradesh, near Bhutan and China).
He was rescued with the support of the local villagers and then released into the forest.
