Banham Zoo celebrates male Red Panda baby

A male Red Panda cub has been born at Banham Zoo in Norfolk (England). He is the second offspring for parents Maggie and Jasper after they had a girl in 2016.

The yet unnamed cub has started to explore the world outside of the nesting box.

The young Red Panda will stay at Banham Zoo for at least a year. When he reaches maturity he will be transferred to another zoo to be part of a new breeding pair.
