Utica Zoo (NY, USA) mourns the loss of Muse. The 10-year-old male Red Panda died unexpectedly a few days before the Christmas holidays. According to an investigation, an acute gastrointestinal impaction led to his death. Some evidence also suggests that Muse suffered from an intestinal infection too.
In October 2021 Red Panda Ming passed away at Utica Zoo.
