DierenPark Amersfoort in the Netherlands has recently welcomed a new resident, a ten-month-old Red Panda named Kawai. The young Red Panda is settling into his new habitat and has already begun to explore his surroundings with great curiosity.
Kawai has been introduced to his fellow Red Panda, Shanti, and their neighbors, the peacocks. The two are often seen climbing the tall trees together, where they spend much of their day sleeping.
