The male Red Pandas Vishal and Koshi have moved from the Rotterdam Zoo in the Netherlands to the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park in Darjeeling, The Indian Express reports.
The new arrivals are intended to increase the genetic diversity of India’s most successful Red Panda breeding program. The zoo is already home to seven males, 12 females and two Red Panda cubs.
